NLP will benefit me personally by addressing issues that I have currently have, such as my weight and swimming. I have already used the swishing technique to change my mindset towards food and exercise. This will benefit me by changing my old bad habits and introducing healthy new alternatives.

I also plan to use submodalities to change negative memories that I have which have turned into phobias. This will benefit me as I will be more positive and able to join in on activities that I would not have previously been able to do. Alongside this I will use outcome thinking to achieve results. I will be happier, be more involved and potentially have more friends.

NLP will also help me professionally as I try to fit in to Australian business life. Rapport and body language will be most beneficial as it will allow me to build relationships quickly and effectively, and be able to communicate with others. Incorporating NLP into my business life will help me deal with change and be even more flexible and open to new ideas. Using anchoring techniques will also help me remain calm when feeling out of my depth or stressed.

My introduction to NLP has come at the best time for me as it will benefit me massively during the build up to and my actual move to Australia.

'I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the NLP Practitioners course last week. The week was packed with fascinating inspiring material, professionally and creatively presented. Particularly evident was your comprehensive grasp of the techniques which, as the week wore on I began to appreciate more fully. The practical application of each task made the theory more memorable.
Two things which struck me were firstly, the simplicity of some of the tools, such that I felt able to utilise the learning straight away in my normal life. Secondly It was quite a revelation to me how little the ‘practitioner’ needs to say in order to elicit extraordinary results in the ‘client’. The key,it would seem, being the exact use of language and an appreciation of what not to say as much as what to say.'

Just to let you know since the initial one day course I did a video interview and the witness initially refused to go through with the interview. I managed to persuade her to do the interview, but she was extrememely nervous and spoke quickly. I mirrored her and slowed her voice speed down by using my breathing and gentle movement of my hand. Guess what, it worked, she relaxed and slowed down the interview lasted 2 hours.
